The end of winter is approaching, and the ice fishing season is coming to an end. Two fishermen, Eric and Ron, set out to a Midwestern lake for one last fishing trip together.
Eric is a retired married man whose thoughts are deeper than the lake itself. Ron is single, younger man who is searching for beauty. He believes that he has found it on the fishing trip when he meets a mystically mysterious woman, Freya. As the two men interact with Freya and her immensely possessive companion, Faz, the situation becomes quite explosive ? literally.
Nice Fish poetically reveals life lessons that come from experiences of love, loss and yearning through the lives of people that have ample time to sit, think and reflect: ice fishermen.
