Reefer Madness, a raucous musical comedy inspired by the original 1936 film of the same name, takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the public hysteria caused when clean-cut kids fall prey to marijuana, leading them on a hysterical downward spiral filled with evil jazz music, sex and violence.

This addictive and clever musical numbers range from big Broadway-style showstoppers to swing tunes like "Down at the ?Ol Five and Dime" and the Vegas-style "Listen to Jesus, Jimmy," featuring J.C. It's 1936 and Jimmy becomes a murderous fiend after being led astray by the "devil weed," Marijuana. He mouths off to his parents, steals from the poor box, brutalizes small animals and (GASP!) even tries to French kiss his shocked girlfriend!

Attempted interventions and pleas by Mom and Jesus (accompanied by backup angels) go unheard and soon Jimmy's on the lam in a stolen Packard in this campy, over-the-top new musical. It's safe to say that "with Reefer, there are no happy endings."
