MOODY BLUES AT RAVNIA

Just got home from the concert. Totally enjoyed it. I don't think i sang the songs as much as yelled them. Ravinia is a beautiful place to have a wonderful time. I will be checking their schedule to see what is coming soon :)

MOODY BLUES , DAYS OF FUTURE PASSED

This show was excellent. Major bonus was the Toronto Orchestra. Nights in White Satin was more than worth the price of admission. Have been a follower since 1967. I have never been disappointed in their shows. It was filmed and when the DVD comes out, I'm buying it. The Sony Centre was easy to get to and would recommend this venue Four any show.

THE MOODINESS ROCK!!!

Fantastic show, great venue. Justin Hayward and John Lodge have always written great songs and their voices have not diminished with age. Graeme Edge still rocks on drums and their backup band is phenomenal. Why is this band not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The are SOOOOO deserving!!!

MOODY BLUES JULY 7TH COMCERT

I've seen the Moody Blues numerous times and this was by FAR the best ever! A full orchestra, Days Of Future Passed... I felt like I was a kid again! Plus, front row, dead center tix didn't hurt! Justin Hayward was in full voice, John Lodge was his playful self and Graeme Edge was having fun as well! A great night and I want to thank them for providing the soundtrack to my life! It was an epic evening!

MOODY BLUES JULY 6 2017

I have been a life long fan of the Moody Blues and although I was only 5 years old when Days of Future Passed came out. I was amazed and left in tears by the performance of the Moody Blues and the 2nd half with the Toronto Festival Orchestra. This is music at it's best.

MOODY BLUES SONY CENTER JULY 7TH

This show came at such a perfect time in my life, first off I bought the tickets for my wife's 50th Birthday so fitting in with Days Of Futures Past 50th Celebratation, and secondly I just lost my Mom July 5th age 86.....so for my wife and I to get out of the stix and head to the city and be part of this magical musical evening this was so perfect...... My wife's first Moody's show my one of many.....they performed flawlessly, the backup band kills, John & Justin's voices are still getting to those magic notes.......been listening to my vinyl since the 60's and am still listening to them......Do yourself all a favour to yourselfs..........go see them while you can.....and see them again......* * * * *

MOODY BLUES AT ENCORE THEATER, VEGAS...10-5-18

I had a very different experience than some who wrote reviews from other nights. Attended Oct. 5 , 2018 performance. Would have been nice if it could have been done with full orchestra, but also would have been pretty expensive. The sound was excellent, vocals were great, screen and light during the Days Of Future Passed segment : really good. Hayward, Lodge clearly enjoyed themselves and were charismatic and gracious. Saw them in 1969 or 1970 in Detroit, and must say they still sing brilliantly, and their tunes are so melodic. The audience response was extremely positive. In all, it was beyond my expectations. I’m picky about concert quality, and I also am certain that most of the audience would have a positive reaction. Would be interesting to see comment from others that attended Oct. 5.

MOODY BLUES 50TH ANNIVERSARY

The Moodies rocked the place tonight in Irving, Texas! John Lodge, Justin Hayward, and Graeme Edge out did themselves with a memorable, musical trip through the years. I've seen most of their venues in this area and this was outstanding! Keepin' the Faith!

GOOD, NOT GREAT

Like others in attendance at the Wynn/Encore MB concert this last week in Sept., we are devoted fans. I'm afraid I have to agree with some of the feelings of disappointment expressed by others.. This is the second time we've seen them at the Wynn/Encore. As with the first show we saw there, the recorded music, was, for the most part, WAY too loud...to the point of distortion. it was painful. Many around us used earplugs, tissues, or just plugged their ears. Then there were the spotlights scanning the crowd...not only did they distracting, but more than once we experienced temporary blindness. Very disappointing. At both events, we found the distorted, painful sound and blinding lights were a topic among other attendees as we walked out afterwards. I'm afraid we attribute much of the disappointment to the Wynn/Encore. We have seen the MB perform at many other venues and never experienced the issues. We love the Moodies but I doubt we'd see them again at the Wynn/Encore.

MOODY AND BLUE

We saw the show Wednesday 9/26 at the Wynn Encore Theater. OK, where to begin? The sound was awful. You couldn't hear the guitar and bass in the mix for the first several songs. It got slightly better through the course of the show. For the most part the sound was thin. I have seen the MB in other venues big and small during the course of their career. This was the worst. My old transistor radio sounded better! There is a saying regarding theatrical lighting, "LIGHT THE MONEY!" It was very annoying that the Lighting Director had the lights flashing and shining into the audience for most of the concert. I get what they were trying to do but light the Artists on stage not the audience. At the intermission I went back out to our car to grab our sunglasses. Lastly, during Isn't Life Strange some idiot in our row decided that he had to get up and go grab a beer He disrupted the total vibe of the song with his coming and going. We love the MB but this was not a great experience.

BETTER 4 YEARS AGO

I saw them 4 years ago and it was a much better performance. Sound system seemed off at times. Had never seen a band take a 20 minute break during the concert. The flute player was fun to watch.

MOODY BLUES CFE

The show was very good. Played many of their top songs. Disliked the canned orchestra background music as well as the canned lead guitar. I was close enough to tell the difference.

LEFT US BLUE AND MOODY 9/2018 VEGAS

Hate to write negative review but feel it’s fair. We were underwhelmed by show. You expect better when at a Show on The Strip. And pay $90 ! Used Recording of orchestra. Seriously!? Stage set like a high school gym dance. People left mid show. Save your $ for better shows.

MOODY BLUES GAVE US THE BLUES

Attended show 9/ 19. The stage was similar to what you'd see at a high school dance. The video clips were nonsensical and looked like it was compiled in 1977. Annoying lighting shone in audience eyes and Sound was terrible. Hard to believe this is a show on The Strip! The band needs to have some semblance of an orchestra and not recorded music to bring their show up to Strip expectations and to justify the $90 ticket costs. We are boomers and MB was some of our fave music but it is best left to our memories. Disappointed.

1.0 star rating Charles Sanders from Las Vegas, Nevada

NOT WORTH $125 (OR EVEN $25)

This concert at Wynns was terrible............ Singing was off on some songs. Laser lights was horrible and affected viewing for most of show. Stay away from this show. Justin Leonard should retire. His voice is no good anymore.
