Twin Cities Ballet performs its flagship traditional, full-length professional production of Denise Vogt's Nutcracker Ballet to full houses each year. A truly Minneapolis experience, this festive dance show is one of the most popular holiday events in the Twin Cities region. What gives this a true local spin is the use of gorgeously painted backdrops denoting famous Twin City landmarks. See Clara and Drosselyer dance across Rice Park and Summit Avenue in St. Paul, along to the snow-covered banks of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, before the action takes to the Land of Sweets!
