Born Yesterday is a witty comedy by Garson Kanin, a celebrated American playright and director. It tells the story of Harry Brock, an egotistical millionaire businessman who specialises in secondhand sales, who moves to Washington DC with his trophy girlfriend.

Kanin, being the corrupt businessman he is, hopes to entice a certain Senate into a one of his business schemes but soon learns the value (and danger) of a little bit of learning and social etiquette.
