Local Natives

Closed May 21, 2019

After forming a musical bond at the Orange County High School, singer Ryan Hahn, Guitarist Taylor Rice and keys player Kelcey Ayer went on to form Local Natives with drummer Matt Frazier and bassist Andy Hamm in 2008, debuting their vibrant, genre-bending sound with the release of their first album Gorilla Manor in 2009. A decade and two more record releases later, the quintet hits the road on the Spiral Choir Tour in support of their fourth studio LP Violet Street.

Electro-funk duo Chromeo formed in Montreal in the early 21st century, a project of former hip hop producers Dave One and Pee Thug (news flash: not their given names!). Dave handled guitars and vocals; Pee was the talkbox-wielding synth specialist. The Canadian duo which draws sounds from blue-eyed soul, dance music and rock are hitting the road once again!

Chromatics fans have been highly anticipating the release of album 'Dear Tommy' since 2014. The project was said to have been created and then destroyed by bandmate Jewel in a near death experience before being entirely re-recorded. Although the project still hasn't been released, Chromatics will head on a 24-date North American tour with bands Desire and In Mirrors that kicks off on 30th April.

The Specials

Alongside the likes of The Beat and Madness, The Specials led the 2 Tone ska revival in England during the 1970s and 80s. It was a movement which combined the rhythms of reggae with a punk attitude and a mod-aesthetic. The group has seen many line-up shifts through the years, but this current band sees founder members Terry Hall, Lynval Golding and Horace Panter reunited for the first time since 1981's Ghost Town.

You'd be forgiven if you thought a band with a name like Arizona would churn out Southern-fried country music, but this Boston-based trio is riding high thanks to their heady sonic blend of danceable electronica, alternative pop and polished production. Don't miss the rising indie superstars when they hit venues across North America on their latest tour.
