Just in time for Halloween festivities, the Minnesota Orchestra will be bringing the thrills and chills with a special live screening of Jordan Peele's modern "gospel horror" masterpiece Get Out. With live accompaniment from the company, joined by gospel greats The Steeles, join n Chris as he heads to his girlfriend's isolated family home, for a 'meet the parents' weekend he'll never forget.

What is the story?

A powerful mediation on 21st-century racism and its rationales, the scariest part of Get Out is how real-life creeps into the familiar horror framework. When Chris, an African American, meets his Caucasian girlfriend Rose's parents for the first time, the milestone makes him nervous for all the normal reasons. But the weekend away turns from uncomfortable to terrifying when Daniel uncovers the family's disturbing secret...
