MAYBE MY EXPECTATIONS WERE TOO HIGH

They started and finished strong, but the entire middle was nap-worthy. I feel like I know a fair amount of their catalog and had never even heard a number of the songs (judging by most of the crowd, they hadn't either). It was awesome to see them so I'm glad we went, just felt like they were kind of going through the motions with minimal energy and true connection with the crowd, and I would have liked to hear more of their up-tempo and well-known songs.

RHCP

Have always loved them but this concert was definitely not my favorite. They didn't play their hit songs which was not okay, and their music was 1,000 times too loud. Everyone in the stadium next to me complained that it was too loud we couldn't understand what they were saying. More than half of the people we went with left early because of the intensity of their volume.

NOT THEIR BEST SHOW

I’ve been to at least 4 of their concerts and this one was the most disappointing . They have so much material to play and yet they bored us with guitar jams and a cover song. While they are still excellent musicians I feel that their energy was off and they didn’t make much of an effort to interact with the crowd . Where was Scar Tissue and Under the Bridge ? I’m also not the biggest fan of these mega outdoor arena’s . It loses something when your so distant from the band and have to rely on Jumbo screens in order to see them . With all that said ….They will always be my favorite band and I’m sure that I will be buying a ticket to their next venue .

CAN'T GO WRONG WITH RHCP

The performance was great, high energy on the stage and they even added some amazing solos/extra notes which was a nice taste the chili peppers. As others have mention they didn't play "Under a Bridge" which was kind of disappointing, but the rest of the songs were great. Audio quality was pretty bad. I sat on the floor in approximately the middle of the entire stadium. It was excessively loud and unbalanced the vocals could barely be heard over the instruments at some points and even almost every time Flea would talk in-between songs everyone around me was like "what did he say?". The opener 'Saint Vincent' sounded amazing with far better proving it wasn't an issue with reverb in the stadium. As for the financials, ticket pricing was way over priced with excessive fees as usual with the only ticket vendor (TM). Merch was about 3x retail price. And we spent about ~$50/per person for food and drinks so that was cool. Overall RHCP are legends and I would see them again if I could.

MEMPHIS TO HARRISBURG

We love RHCP. Have seen them 3 times. Most recently last summer in Nashville. Harrisburg was disappointing. Short set list. Low energy from the crowd and the band. Seems like they mailed this one in.

CALIFORNIA GIRL SAYS…. NOT SO GREAT

I thought this concert was one of the most boring concerts I’ve been to. There was little interaction from the band to connect with the crowd, there was a few fans cheering, but not like most concerts were fans were excited. People were leaving before the encore. Videography sucked and was spotty at best. Anthony seemed bored - and said little to engage the crowd…. but hey, they’ve been doing this for 40 years… flea said the most about surfing in pb… whatever…

SELFISH TO NOT PLAY YOUR BIGGEST SONG

How do you not play Under The Bridge ? It’s not right to do that to your fans. They paid to see you, not the other way around. Give them what they want ! And I know there were technical problems, so they had to jam, but the jamming was at least 35% of the entire show.. Fans do NOT want to see too much of it, especially if you’re jamming instead of playing your biggest song of all time. Very disappointed.
