I went with to the 2:00 pm sho on Nov 8 with a group of 6, all who are big Prince fans. All of us unanimously felt the show was amazing!! We were initially disappointed that we had the backup actor (Jason Korn) playing "The Kid", however, that went away very quickly as he did a phenomenal job throughout the show, he looked and sounded the part of Prince very well and did a great job acting as well. The rest of the cast was very talented as well and the mix of great music, acting, and humor were excellent. We would highly recommend this show.

As a young girl who loves Prince’s music, I would love for this show to be a success. But it needs some work in my opinion. The main character needs to be portrayed completely differently. He is the main character of the show but he has no redeeming qualities other than he was talented. He is portrayed as dark, gloomy, abusive, and narcissistic. In his home of Minneapolis where people here love him; You need the main character to be liked. Prince’s talent was multifaceted, singer, songwriter, dancer, and performer. People were drawn to him as a performer. Show that! I realize you are drawing upon the movie, but you like the main character after watching the movie. The opening scene with the band playing was incredible. Have him play more songs with the band. Show how he positively influenced other band members and could play all the instruments. Include more of his music. Just a few thoughts hoping to help make this a success.
