Why See The Pretenders?
They Ain't No Pretenders
Chrissie Hynde and Co. are on the road again in 2018! The pop rock veterans are currently basking in the glow of their latest album Alone, which was received rapturously by critics and fans alike. Produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, Alone was a gritty, bluesy affair and more than respectable entry into one of modern rock's best back catalogues.
Emerging in the early 70s, the New Wave infused The Pretenders saw huge success on both sides of the Atlantic with tracks like 'Brass in Pocket', '2000 Miles' and 'Don't Get Me Wrong'.
