This was a bucket list concert for me and TOTO
did not disappoint . The set list was excellent
although they did play two covers and a
instrumental from the Soundtrack of the movie
Dune which TOTO scored.
Almost every album was represented by at
least one song which is unheard of.
The Charleston Music Hall is an intimate venue
with 1,000 seats. The only disappointing thing
for me was that original member and
keyboardist David Paich was not there due to
sickness Be sure to eat next door at Coast and
enjoy some cocktails before your show

TOTO SHOWS TRUE MUSICIANSHIP AT NASHVILLE RYMAN(D.R. POWERS)
I have read in previous reviews from other concert halls that the reviewers(fans/concert goers) had complaints that Toto didn't just do a greatest hits concert and then say adios and leave the stage. Let me explain something to those whiners about how Toto sets up their playlist and format for their 40th anniversary tour. Toto knows that fans want to hear their biggest hits like Rosanna, Africa and Hold The Line. Toto rotates their hits at each venue they perform at so these songs don't become stale and robotic as they play them continually at each venue. They have a middle segment where they have fun with the audience and show how some of their songs in the beginning weren't so classic and at our sold out venue the crowd loved it. As for the remark made about not needing to hear Steve Lukather play "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" because he was a fan of George Harrison, that whiner needs to realize Steve was influenced by Mr. Harrison. The band was on spot vocally and instrumentally.

FABULOUS SHOW!
We sat Right Orchestra Row M seats 50 & 51 (aisle closest to Orchestra section, fabulous
seats! This band brought their "A" game last night. Couldn't have been happier with the
mix of old and new and the nine piece band. Would absolutely pay to go again and
again. Favorite song of the night for me was "Africa"

TOTO
Toto delivered an amazing performance. There is so much talent throughout! By interacting with the audience, they made us feel like a part of the night. They brought a lot of energy and the lighting specialists did an awesome job!! Our family are grateful for the opportunity to finally get to see them in concert. See you next time TOTO!!

LENNY IS THE BOMB!
Last night in Chicago was our 26th Toto concert. They never fail to impress us, as the musicians are always the very best no matter who they bring on with them on each tour. Lenny was unusually impressive on percussion last night, Joseph's voice was outstanding again, but Steve's guitar playing was the highlight. I only wish they would have played at least one cut from the 14 album. That was a bit disappointing. As long as they keep playing, I'll keep going!!

NO BETTER BAND OUT THERE LIVE!
TOTO is, consistently, the most polished, technically, and aesthetically, of any band that I have ever heard live since I've been going to concerts (1983). I have seen them 4 times in the last 10 years and each time the show has been entirely different. Sure, they played their most important hits each time, but, to an avid concert goer, variety is important to me, and, in that respect, this band delivers at an extremely high level. Add to that the obvious fun that they are having on stage together and what you get is a spectacular show every time. They would not permit anything less. Truly professional.

LEGIT MUSICIANS
Saw TOTO in Atlanta and it was such a great concert - the talent, the mix, the venue! Given that there is a dearth of great musicians today who not only don't take music-craft seriously they can't play live! TOTO is the exception! TOTO CAN PLAY!

WORTH SEEING
I have to agree with RT from Vancouver. Pacific Amphitheater, Costa Mesa is a nice
outdoor venue and glad I finally got to see Toto after a couple of decades. I really
wish they had selected a better playlist. It seemed to me like they were playing for
themselves instead of for their fans. They sounded great but I would have rather
heard 5 fan favorites rather than a 20 minute instrumental. I did like Lukathur's
rendition of While My Guitar Gently Weeps but could have done without Georgy
Porgy, Human Nature, and the 10 minute "audience repeat" at the end of Africa.

GREAT BAND
Amazing musicians all of them. Incredible body
of music so why thy chose to play several
instrumentals, a couple covers, and then
donextended drawn out versions of many of
the songs is beyond me. It seems like they
were very focused on showing off their
incredible individual talents as opposed to
playing the songs the fans wanted to hear and
sing along to. When they did play Hold the
Line, Roseanna, Africa etc the crowds went
nuts and sang along every word every line. I
can think of 10 Songs I’d have rather heard
than While My Guitar Gently Weeps (extended,
Steve Lukather guitar solo) or several other B-
Side type songs. Anyways just my humble
opinion-Rockmaker, I’ll Supply the Love, St
George and the Dragon etc etc would have
been awesome.

TOTO...PLAY THE SONGS YOUR BASE WAITED FOR YEARS TO HEAR!!!!
Great evening in South Florida to see Toto!! After their warm up song...they broke in
to "Hold the Line"!! Excellent performance and sound was mixed brilliantly!! Strong
vocals!!! My compalint is the same as all those around me....WHY aren't they playing
the songs we payed to hear?" I Won't Hold You Back" is one of the greatest ballads of
it's time...the guitar solo is hypnotic...vocal blends were great in previous
concerts...Did they play "I'll be over you"...nope! GREAT tune! Someone mentioned
they rotate their hits...WHY?...yet they play a cover of "While My Guitar Gently
Weeps" at every concert! Disappointed!! "Afica" was amazing!! PLAY THE HITS!!!
That's why we're hear!!

TERRIBLE SOUND.
The band performance was good , I don't understand why they sell themselves so
cheap by using unprofessional sound staff and a very poor acoustic location , sadly
the final result was a good band that sound like a garage band rehearsal.
Sorry , My last time on Vancouver Center., not sure about TOTO , guess this was the
farewell
