The Paris Opera, 1881...

Hidden in the tunnels deep below the Paris Opera resides a deformed musical genius who stalks the halls and terrorizes the company from the rafters. With his half-covered by his famous white mask, his only happiness comes from tutoring the beautiful, orphaned chorus girl Christine Daae, with whom he has an enduring obsession. Unseen, he teaches the young ingenue to sing 'The Music of the Night.' As her 'Angel of Music', Christine blossoms and steps out of the chorus line onto center stage.

When Christine becomes engaged to another man, the Phantom is driven wild with jealousy and will stop at nothing to have her for himself, even resorting to murder. And so begins a tantalizing tale of forbidden love and supernatural adventure so exciting that over 130 million people worldwide have lost their hearts and minds to the drama.

Did You Know?

To achieve the spooky atmosphere of the Phantom's underground lair, the crew use more than 500lbs of dry ice and 10 fog and smoke machines at every performance. Brrrrrr!

Dont miss this show! Went on 6-12-12

Great show! We sat in H2,4,6,8. Thoughts:premium seats are worth the $$$. If u sit on the floor level n row M or higher, you probably wont c the phantom up on the roof. If you have heart issues, dont sit dead center in front of the orchestra, because the chandelier will come close to your head as it crashes to the stage (very cool effect!) If you are on the floor, get seats in the center. Outside seats do have obstructed views. Also the left side of the stage seems to have more "action" then the right side. Get seats in center left. Temperature in theater was great, nice and cool! Having read prior reviews I agree with others: the staff was rude at times. There is outside noise from the street to the east exit doors behind row H. Bathroom lines are long and many people miss the start of the 2nd half (they do let you back in) some noise from candy wrappers but most of the audience was quiet at the important times. I am 6'2 & I am glad I had the aisle seat! Great show! Dont miss it! ... Read more

Too perfect.

It was absolutely fantastic! I spent most of the play fangirling in my seat. :) (Which is really hard for me to say... My expectations are so high, and this show met them perfectly!) I loved it. Would see it again in a heart-beat, wish I could, because I won't stop raving about this for at least another week. ... Read more
