Hennepin Theatre Trust and Theater Latte Da's five year collaboration has spawned some of the most acclaimed musical productions Minneapolis has seen. To celebrate, they'll be revisiting a greatest hit with an encore staging of Stephen Sondheim's celebrated (and delightfully gruesome) tale of revenge. The story follows barber Sweeney Todd on his return to London after fifteen years of false imprisonment. Determined to exact murderous revenge on the corrupt judge who sent him away, Sweeney reopens his old barbershop and begins sharpening his razors...

Sweeney todd; The Demon Barber of Fleet Street debuted on Broadway in 1979, where it scooped up an incredible eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and was later adapted for the screen by Tim Burton.
